1. Service Framework & Operating Model

Service Architecture

This Booking Policy forms an integral, legally binding agreement between you (the patient or prospective patient) and Denturaa (Denturaa). By submitting a booking request, reserving an appointment through our Google Calendar scheduler, or attending a consultation, you unconditionally accept and agree to all provisions set out herein.

Denturaa functions as a specialised denture booking, clinical coordination, and patient introduction platform. We coordinate patient consultations, manage digital appointment scheduling, and introduce patients requiring bespoke full dentures, partial dentures, and implant-supported overdentures to registered dental practices, clinical dental technology suites, and qualified healthcare professionals across the United Kingdom.

This policy governs the terms of your initial appointment booking, the sharing of your personal and clinical data, the nature of the physical premises where you are seen, the status of treating clinical personnel, and our commercial introduction arrangements.

2. Third-Party Sites, Rented Surgeries & Subcontracted Facilities

Clinical Premises

We advise all patients that Denturaa does not necessarily own or exclusively operate all physical properties where consultations and treatments take place. To provide convenient, localized, and prompt clinical care throughout Birmingham, London, Manchester, Bristol, Nottingham, Leeds, and other UK regions:

  • Third-Party Clinical Sites: We frequently utilize third-party dental practices, independent dental centres, and multidisciplinary healthcare clinics to host patient consultations and clinical appointments.
  • Rented Surgeries & Sessional Rooms: Denturaa may rent or lease clinical dental surgeries, decontamination suites, and assessment rooms on a sessional, periodic, or long-term basis within established third-party dental establishments.
  • Third-Party Service Execution: We may permit or authorize an independent third-party company, licensed dental body corporate, or partner dental clinic to carry out clinical assessments, diagnostic investigations, consultations, denture fabrication, and full clinical treatment on our behalf or in their own independent clinical capacity.
  • Standard of Facilities: All premises utilized—whether rented, partnered, or operated by a third-party healthcare entity—operate in full compliance with statutory healthcare quality regulations and comply with HTM 01-05 decontamination standards.

3. Treatment Delivery by Employees & Non-Employed Professionals

Clinical Delivery

Clinical treatments, examinations, impressions, bite registrations, trial fittings, denture deliveries, and subsequent adjustments may be performed by personnel who are directly employed by Denturaa, as well as by professionals who are NOT directly employed by us.

You expressly acknowledge and agree that your care may be delivered by non-employed independent practitioners, including but not limited to:

  • Self-employed Clinical Dental Technicians (CDTs) practicing under their own independent professional registration.
  • Independent Dental Surgeons (BDS / LDS) and associate dentists who operate as self-employed practitioners or are employed by the host third-party practice.
  • Locum clinical professionals and temporary dental specialists engaged to provide clinical sessions.
  • Registered Dental Nurses and clinical assistants employed by the host third-party practice or providing agency clinical support.
  • Independent Dental Laboratories & Technicians: Custom prosthetics, chrome-cobalt castings, and acrylic processing are manufactured by registered dental laboratories and dental technicians who are independent commercial suppliers.
  • Clinical Autonomy & Professional Indemnity: Every clinician providing care—whether directly employed or an independent non-employed contractor—maintains statutory professional registration, upholds national Standards for the Dental Team, exercises independent clinical judgement, and carries mandatory personal professional medical indemnity insurance (e.g., Dental Defence Union, Dental Protection, or equivalent).

4. Information Sharing with Third Parties & Independent Professionals

UK GDPR Article 6 & 9

To facilitate your consultation booking, confirm your appointment time, conduct safe clinical triage, and manufacture bespoke dental appliances, your personal data and health records must be shared with third parties and professionals who are not directly employed by Denturaa.

In accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018 (Article 6(1)(b) Contractual Performance, Article 6(1)(f) Legitimate Interests, and Article 9(2)(h) Provision of Health or Social Care), you explicitly consent to and authorize data sharing with:

  • Non-Employed Treating Clinicians: Your name, contact number, email address, dental concerns, relevant medical history, clinical notes, intraoral scans, and clinical photographs are provided directly to the independent Clinical Dental Technician or Dental Surgeon conducting your assessment and treatment.
  • Third-Party Partner Practices: Practice receptionists, practice managers, and administrative personnel at host or rented clinics who coordinate appointment diaries, prepare surgery rooms, and manage local clinical records.
  • Independent Dental Appliance Laboratories: Prescriptions, patient reference codes, jaw records, and anatomical models necessary for the bespoke manufacture of custom-made medical devices under the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002.
  • Digital Infrastructure Providers: Google Calendar (appointment scheduling engine), secure cloud communication platforms, and transactional notification services operating under rigorous data processing agreements.
  • Confidentiality & Regulatory Oversight: All third parties and non-employed recipients are bound by strict contractual confidentiality obligations and statutory duties of patient confidentiality.

5. Commercial Remuneration, Introduction Fees & Commissions

Commercial Disclosure

Transparency regarding commercial relationships is fundamental to our booking service. Denturaa operates in part as a patient introduction and marketing agency for dental services.

You are hereby explicitly advised, and you acknowledge and agree, that:

  • Introduction Fees & Commissions: Denturaa may obtain, earn, or receive a commission, referral fee, introduction payment, administration charge, or commercial remuneration from partner clinics, rented site operators, or independent healthcare providers for introducing you and facilitating your booking.
  • No Additional Patient Markup: The receipt of an introduction fee or commission by Denturaa does not increase the cost of your dental treatment. Clinical fees quoted by your treating clinician reflect standard private dental fee schedules and laboratory costs.
  • Express Acceptance: Your booking confirmation constitutes your explicit knowledge of, and consent to, Denturaa receiving commercial fees or commissions for the introduction and coordination of your care.

6. Patient Agreement & Binding Consent on Booking

Contractual Consent

By completing an appointment booking on this website, clicking through our Google Calendar appointment scheduler, confirming an appointment by telephone, or presenting at a consultation:

  • 1. You confirm that you have read, understood, and unconditionally agreed to this Booking Policy, our Terms of Service, and our Privacy Notice.
  • 2. You explicitly agree that your consultation, assessment, or subsequent treatments may take place at a third-party site or rented clinical surgery, and may be performed by an independent third-party company or non-employed healthcare professional.
  • 3. You expressly authorize the disclosure and transfer of your personal contact and clinical information to both employees and non-employed professionals involved in your care.
  • 4. You expressly agree that Denturaa may receive an introduction fee, commission, or commercial remuneration from third parties in connection with your booking and introduction.

7. Free Consultation Scope & Itemised Treatment Plans

The initial 30-minute consultation offered via our Google Calendar schedule is provided free of clinical charge with no obligation to proceed with treatment. During this consultation, the clinician will evaluate your oral condition, assess denture stability, and discuss viable replacement or adjustment options.

Should you choose to proceed with clinical treatment, custom denture fabrication, or implant overdenture therapy, your treating clinician will provide a comprehensive, itemised written treatment plan with fixed fees before any impressions, clinical interventions, or laboratory manufacturing commence.

8. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Non-Attendance Policy

Because clinical surgery time and practitioner schedules are reserved exclusively for each patient, we request at least 24 hours' advance notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Appointments can be rescheduled or cancelled conveniently via the self-service management link in your Google Calendar confirmation email, or by contacting our team via phone or email.

Repeated late cancellations or failures to attend without notice may result in the restriction of future online booking privileges.

9. Clinical Liability, Professional Autonomy & Indemnity

Denturaa provides marketing, booking coordination, digital technology, and patient introduction services. Clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, surgical procedures, prosthetic fittings, and all medical/dental decisions are the sole professional responsibility of the treating clinician.

Whether the practitioner is directly employed or an independent non-employed contractor, all treating clinicians are personally accountable for their clinical practice to statutory healthcare standards and hold appropriate personal medical malpractice and professional indemnity cover. Denturaa accepts no clinical liability for diagnostic decisions or dental treatments provided by independent practitioners or partner clinics.
